MERKUR has launched a completely new corporate presence: The new campaign was devised by DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN.

Designed around “Have a good time!”, MERKUR will offer its customers culinary delights as one of the defining aspects of life. Especially now. It is in these unprecedented times, where we have been reliant on ourselves or our families, that we are rediscovering the value of things that we usually take for granted.

The last few months have been challenging. First a rush on the stores, followed by social distancing and face masks. Then a slow easing of lockdowns and a cautious return to normality. It was the opportune moment for MERKUR to encourage its customers to be mindful of culinary moments. Whether it's a family meal together, a well-deserved lunch break, or a road trip: the campaign gives room for relishing the simple things in life, accompanied by the promise of creating the best environment to this end in the MERKUR markets.

In addition to fresh produce, a wide range of products and excellent service, the campaign therefore focuses on conscious eating and enjoying the little moments. Biting into a juicy melon and savouring every bite is pure pleasure.

In a concerted rollout via TV and radio, posters, Citylights and Digilights, online TV, social media and at the POS, the campaign will send a culinary message to all those who want to have a good time again – thereby keeping in tune with the times.
